Rizwan-uz-Zaman Khan’s had one of the most peculiar first-class records. A proficient specialist has natural batting ability. He didn’t achieve the same level of success at the international level as his contemporaries. Rizwan-uz-Zaman Khan made headlines when he made his Test debut on Australian soil.
In November 1981, he made his Test debut against Australia on the bouncy track of Perth, where he got out his first ball duck off Terry Alderman’s bowling. In the second inning, he made eight runs before he was caught by Rod Marsh by Terry Alderman. This was a pretty big failure for a young batsman.
In 11 Test matches, he scored 345 at an average of 19.16, including three fifties with a best of 60. In three ODIs, he scored 20 runs at an average of 6.66, with the best of 14.
A domestic cricketer stalwart played 205 first-class matches, scored 14,452 runs at an average of 43.53 with the best of 217* including 43 hundred, 70 fifties, 120 catches, 87 wickets with the best of 5 for 16 including two times 5 wickets in an innings, and one time 10 wickets in a match.
Rizwan also played 148 list-A matches and scored 3,938 runs at an average of 28.74 with the best of 112, including 5 hundred, 29 fifties, 37 catches, and 23 wickets with the best of 3 for 17.
