Aamer Hameed – Former Right Arm Medium Fast Bowler

Right-arm medium-fast bowler Aamer Hameed was born on October 18, 1954, in Lahore. He didn’t play Test cricket for Pakistan. Aamer Hameed participated in two ODI’s (1977–78). Though he could not have a chance to bat, he managed to get one wicket at an average of 38.00.
His best bowling was 1 for 32 against England at Sahiwal in 1977–78. He also held one catch and won the selection for England tour in 1978. However, he did not play any Test match on that tour, and his only appearance was against Blue for Oxford University.
Aamer Hameed didn’t have any other memories, despite two ODI appearances. His First-class career spanned from 1972 to 1979. He played 54 first-class matches, scoring 923 runs with the best of 103 at an average of 14.42 with the help of 2 hundred and 2 fifties.
As a medium-pacer, he has taken 115 wickets with the best bowling of 7 for 36 at 38.69, with five wickets an inning 5 times and one time 10 wickets in a match. Moreover, in 15 List A matches, he scored 360 runs and took 14 wickets from 1974–75 to 1978–79.
